Sean Fleming
Sean Fleming, organist, harpsichordist, and pianist, is one of Maine’s most sought after collaborative keyboard artists, and has performed with the Maine Friends of Music for 15 years. He serves as the accompanist for Bowdoin Chorus, Coastal Chorale, Lincoln Academy Lincolnaires, Lincoln Arts Festival Chorus, St. Cecilia Chamber Choir, Sheepscot Chorus and Tapestry Singers. He is a regular accompanist with Down East Singers and Midcoast Community Chorus. Fleming has worked with Ann Arbor Camerata, Bowdoin Chamber Choir, Bowdoin Summer Music Festival Chorus, Colby Chorale, Oratorio Chorale, Renaissance Voices, University of Michigan Gilbert and Sullivan Society, and University of Southern Maine Chorale and Chamber Singers. Mr. Fleming has directed or accompanied over sixty-five musical theater productions nationwide.
An organ recitalist who has performed throughout the United States, Sean studied organ with Ray Cornils, John Doney, and Gerald McGee, and piano and organ with Michael Lindsey. For the past fifteen years he has served as organist at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Newcastle. He is the recipient of the 2009 St. Botolph Club Foundation award for music.
